It’s Here!
Finally, after years of writing and revision, it’s here. For those of you who don’t know, I was hit by a drunk driver five years ago. The brain injury I sustained left me unable to work, but I’ve explained all that throughout this blog. During my recovery, I began writing a book about my mother. The blog and the book were a way to help me pass on thoughts and memories to my children in case I didn’t get the chance to do so myself.
Labor Of Love
It’s been a labor of love. I struggled with memory, word-finding, and focus. As a result, the book has taken a very long time to write. But now it’s here! Finally, four years into my recovery, I had gotten my brain back and was ready to finish it.
Then my daughter got sick, and I spent my newly restored brain power finding a way to heal her for the following year. Isn’t God wonderful? What perfect timing. Had she become ill the previous year, I could not have done the research I did to help her. I would not have been able to manage the appointments and juggle all the moving parts in her recovery. Instead, I was better, right on time.
Delayed But Not Undone
So my book was delayed. But that’s okay. I can trust in God’s timing because He has shown me countless times the perfection of His planning.
