You Got A Plan?
Sometimes I feel like asking God that very question. Usually, it’s when things have been turned on their heads, or circumstances have derailed my trajectory. You Got a Plan, God? Really, I want to know! That’s probably what David, Jesse, Saul, all of Jesse’s sons, and everyone else was thinking when David walked out to face Goliath. It definitely didn’t seem like a good plan. He was a teenager, in a tunic with no armor, no real weapons, no helmet, just a slingshot facing a giant who had terrorized a nation for the past 40 days. He was definitely the long shot.
But, God Has A Plan
I love this verse because it’s amazing in both theory and practice. In theory, a plan should be simple, straightforward, and include the best options. In practice, God picks the unlikeliest people to do the greatest things. He has a plan for my life and yours, and despite how wild it might seems, He can make it happen.
