Go For A Walk

7 Great Reasons To Take A Walk

7 Great Reasons To Take A Walk

I walk my dog every day. Not too far because he is old and struggles with hills and stairs, so I keep it slow and simple. But, I love to walk. Often I will go out for a walk all by myself to clear my head, get away and relax. The benefits of walking go way beyond increasing your heart and lung fitness; reducing your risk of heart disease and stroke, improving your ability to manage high blood pressure, high cholesterol, joint, and muscular pain or stiffness, and diabetes; strengthening your bones, and improving your balance; increasing your muscle strength and endurance, reducing your body fat, and filling up on vitamin D. Walking is wonderful simply because it makes you feel good.

It’s so wonderful that I thought I would share my most recent walk with you.
