O Happy Day!
I love this song! It’s kind of corny, but I love the movie version from Sister Act, where the singer is so insecure, but as he sings, he gains confidence and then ends up blowing the crowd away. An interesting backstory note is that he decided to sing that high note on his own. When you see everyone’s surprised reactions – they are genuine. It’s amazing what a little confidence can do for you. You can have all the talent in the world, but it remains hidden if you are afraid to share it with the world.
Today Is My Happy Day
Today was a happy day for my family. We brought our daughter to college for her freshman year. We helped her move in, and now she is beginning this new wonderful life. My other daughter has been working very hard during tryouts for a fall sport after being cut from the team two years ago. She decided to try again and found out today that she made the team! She was able to regain enough confidence to try again, and because of that, she hit her own high note. The same is true for my college freshman. She decided to pursue her passion, and she was rewarded.
God Wants The Best For Us
God wants the best for us, and we can tell because He blesses us when we follow the path of the talents He has granted us. How wonderful is it that He took our sins and redeemed us, healed us, blessed us? I can not imagine a better way to end the evening than with good news. The good news is Christ died for us and was willing to give His all so that we could live forever with Him in heaven. O Happy Day!

Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Very nice
