Sparrows And Other Things
There have been a few times while writing this blog that I mentioned how much I missed testimonies at church. The thought of writing my own has both captivated and terrified me. There are so many things to say, and some I probably shouldn’t. But everywhere I turned, I’ve felt like God was leading me to write about it. I don’t know why, I don’t have a huge following, and I’m still figuring out how to find more of the people who would want to read what I have to say.
Testimony
Nonetheless, today was the day I finished it. I refused to stop until it was done. This book is a testimony to some of the amazing ways God shows up in our everyday lives. There are times when God rescues us dramatically, and other times He is that still, small voice beckoning us to come and find comfort in His arms. God sees everything we don’t and provides for us in astounding ways. We pray for our needs and desires, and He understands those prayers better than we can hope for or imagine.
First To Know
I wanted you all to be the first to know about the new ebook. It’s a short read, broken into chapters dealing with specific incidents in my life. There are certainly many more incidents than those I recorded there, but the ones I chose were personal and compelling for me. I hope you will find them interesting too.
The Only Bible
I’ve heard it said that sometimes you are the only bible some people will ever “read.” How amazing would it be if we all shared God’s miracles with the world, so people would know the impossible still happens. If we shared our trials and triumphs, we could show the world that everyone struggles and it’s ok. God loves you anyway. Maybe someone would be blessed, maybe someone would be encouraged, maybe someone would decide not to give up and hold on for another day.
