I came home from church last Sunday and found my dog, Chewy, gnawing secretively half hidden by the couch. Upon closer inspection, I see that he has managed to find all of the Christmas stockings. Initially, I worried about the candies and chocolates I had put in the kids’ stockings.

I didn’t need to be.

Although he found them all, he raided only his own. He pulled out a bone, unwrapped it, bit off the plastic and went to town. At least he is a considerate thief!
