Tent Time!

I know it’s almost time when the flowers are blooming on the trees and bursting forth from the ground. As the weather starts to warm and leaves grow big, and their green deepens on the trees, I know it’s nearly time. What time, you ask? Tent Time! I love camping. It’s my happy place. No phones, no distractions, just peace, quiet, and nature – oh, that’s the life. The most important part about going camping is having a good tent.

Tent Protection

Good tents offer protection not just from howling winds and lashing rains; they also provide shade in the sweltering heat. Tents are an escape from the incessant bites of mosquitoes and black flies. Privacy, shade, waterproofing, and fresh air are the most important aspects of getting a good tent for your trip.

Revelations 7:15 They are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple, and He who sits on the throne will spread His tent over them. When God “spreads His tent over [you],” you are under His protection – you are part of his family. How comforting to know that our service doesn’t go unappreciated or unnoticed. We are promised protection and shelter when we serve God.
